For Paypal account holders or members wishing to pay their subscription via standing order, there an automatic renewal membership which is charged at £30 for 3 months on a automatically renewing subscription.

Are you a dating site?

No, we have singles and couples who join us, the emphasis is on enjoying the social side of meeting new people, trying new experiences and have a great social mix of people handy within and around your area to interact with. Inevitably people will meet people who they would like to spend more time with outside the organised events. If any special relationships develop we will be the first to congratulate you!!

What age range are the members?

Over 25's. We are not age specific, this is for anybody who wants to join over the age of 25. Our events and social meets are very varied and for all ages, it is all about doing what you want to do, no matter what the age. Inevitably there will be certain activities that like minded and similarly aged people will book, but nobody is excluded or put into an age category.

Can I bring a friend to events?

Yes, Non-members are more than welcome to join you on an event. At the time of booking an event, please book the non-member in the relevant section.

How do I find out about the latest events?

At Go SOUP we ensure that you are easily able to find out and know about latest events by newsletters to yourself and also by constantly updating these details on the website. We try where possible to cater for your own specific interest and we will note from your membership application what these may be and will automatically email you details of events that we think you may be interested in as and when they arise.

What if I need to cancel an event booking?

Please notify us if you need to cancel a booking. Each event will have its own specific cancellation details. Please refer to the cancellation policy within the Terms and Conditions

Can I still book events if I am not a member?

Yes, you are able to book events via another Member if you are not a Member but can attend as a guest of a member.

How will I know what to bring or where to meet?

Full details of meeting places and what will be required for you to wear or bring with you will be given to you at the time of booking. General information of this will also be shown on the event web page. If there are any changes to the details you receive we will ensure that you are made aware of them either by telephone or by email dependent on the time scales.

Do I always have to wear the Go SOUP member's pin?

The pin is to help you and others to instantly recognise each other in a crowded room on an event that is not exclusive to Go SOUP members. This also eases new people into the membership as the pin instantly breaks down any barriers to talking to people. There will be many events where the pin won't be necessary or practical to wear. Certain events will highlight when it is recommended to wear the pin.

What if I lose my Membership Pin?

Please notify us if this happens and we will replace it for a fee of £5

I feel a bit shy or awkward meeting new crowds of people, how can I get around this?

One way around this is to book an activity. The very nature of the activities are interactive with added interest of some type which will naturally engage people and enable you to get past any awkwardness. Another way is to book onto a social meet at one of the bars or pubs, there will be Go SOUP personnel on hand to meet you outside the venue if desired and ease you into the mix. At each Social Meet, the number of the Go SOUP personnel will be given to attending member's before-hand (or the general Go SOUP telephone number will be diverted to their mobile) so that anybody feeling a little shy can alert Go SOUP personnel that they have arrived or are outside and so staff can ensure that they are on hand to meet you and introduce you into the mix .

Can I just turn up to try out a taster session?

We are happy for people to have a free taster session at our social meets, however we wish to be aware of this beforehand by telephone (08450348067)or by email (hello@go-soup.co.uk). All our generous suppliers provide an "ice-breaker" and as a courtesy to them we need to give them expected numbers of people. We also need to be aware of who is attending on the night so that we can ensure that you will be expected and can keep an eye out for you.

Can I suggest new events for Go SOUP?

We welcome any suggestions that our members may have that they feel will enhance the variation of events that we offer. Every suggestion will be considered carefully so please feel free to bring something to our attention, whether that be an activity or a venue or a skill and we will contact you to discuss further.
